Instagram Automation allows Instagram Businesses to use a chatbot to manage their Instagram DMs. An Instagram Business Account must be connected to a Facebook Page for Instagram automation to work.
Instagram Automation is available for the following accounts:
- Any Instagram Professional account for a business.
- Any Instagram Professional account for a Creator.
To manage Instagram Messages via ChatbotBuilder, Instagram business accounts must enable the connected tools to toggle under message control settings.
In your Instagram Account, go to Settings & Privacy > Messages and story replies > Message controls > Connected Tools (turn on Allow access to Messages)
Connect your Instagram Professional Account to ChatbotBuilder
Go to Settings > Channels > choose Instagram.
How to Build Instagram Flows
The process of building flows for all channels is the same. We recommend you always use the Omnichannel message type.
Important Notes
!- Your Instagram Business account must be connected to a Facebook Page.
- Group threads (conversations with more than 2 participants) are not supported.
- Instagram Comment Automation tool doesn’t work on Instagram Ads.
